Dmitry Pletenchuk, the head of the Center for Strategic Communications of South Defense Forces in a comment to Ukrinform, shared the details. According to him, the illegal structure of the enemy he intends to use for military logistics is a legitimate fortune for Ukraine. Moreover, the Armed Forces fighters have enough opportunities to destroy this railway.

"This corridor has not been fully worked, it really does not connect Crimea with other occupied territories in the south of Ukraine, the railway is just being built. It is built quickly enough, and indeed, the Russians plan to use it primarily to ensure the military logistics In order to smoothly supply everything necessary for fighting. Separately, the representative of the south defense forces added that in Russia there is now a plan to tie Rostov and the captured Crimea with this route.

The urgent need for this arose after the illegal bridge on the occupied peninsula stopped providing military logistics in full. The Ukrainian side is closely monitoring the situation, as the railway is located closer than the structure through the Gulf of Kerch. It is easier to get to it. "Of course, this part of the railway, this logistics path will be closer to the line of combat collision.
