The Russians accused teenagers of allegedly overthrowing the support on the railway track, which could block the railway connection with the city. Even before their murder, on June 15, 2023, the European Parliament approved a resolution demanding to stop the persecution of Ukrainian teenagers Tigran Ogannisyan and Nikita Khanganov from the occupied Berdyansk and give them the opportunity to leave and controlled Ukraine.
The co -founder of the media initiative for human rights Olga Reshetilova confirmed that the teenagers of Tigran Ogannisyan and Nikita Hanganov were shot dead in occupied Berdyansk. Law enforcement agencies of Ukraine have initiated criminal proceedings on the murder of children. On June 28, 2023 it became known that the Russian invaders agreed to pass on the relatives of the body of the dead in the occupied Berdyansk teenagers Tigran Ogannisyan and Nikita Kanganov.
