Show money: EU border guards began to check the solvency of the Russians

Confirmation may be cash or not Russian banks. The Russians who have visited the EU countries recently complain about the innovations that have encountered at the entrance to the EU, writes The Moscow Times. European border guards began to selectively check the availability of funds for the entire stay in the country. The control should show either cash or bank card operating in Europe.

The publication is known for five such cases: they complained three times for such a reception in Germany and once in France and Austria. However, one of the interlocutors, a 46-year-old Muscovite, said that in Frankfurt she had to spend 12 hours at the airport, as the map of the Chinese payment system Union Pay from "Rosselhozbank" was not staged by German border guards.

The Muscovites had to wait for her to bring a missing amount from Istanbula, only after that she was able to go out to the city. Visa consultants have explained that many countries have requirements for a trip. Those who came to Germany need to have at least 100 euros for a trip, to Finland - about 50 euros, to Austria - 60 euros a day, in Spain - 90 euros, in Italy - 45 euros. If the money is stored on the map, you need to submit statements about the funds stored in the accounts.

If there is no such money, you can provide sponsorship letters from relatives or employers. We will remind, on August 5, the Latvian authorities decided not to issue visas to Russian citizens. The exception can only be made for those who want to come to the funeral of a relative. The authorities of Estonia ceased to issue visas in March. They now intend to prohibit visas for Russians to Europe and plans to send appropriate proposals to the EU leadership.
