The report of May 20 states that even limited activity of the Russian Federation in the border areas can lead to delaying the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine from other areas of the front. The deputy commander of one of the Brigades of the Armed Forces, which operates in the north of the Kharkiv region, stated that in the Sumy direction the invaders were accumulating troops. Among them are "Kadyrivtsi". However, it is a limited composition.
According to the Ukrainian military observer Konstantin Mashovets, the group of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Kursk region has from 9 to 10 thousand people. The group includes: the report states that in early May, Mashovets wrote that the Russian group in the Kursk region includes an unspecified Battalion of the Air Force.
One of the Russian troops stated that another battalion of the Air Force also included the group, and claimed that in the Kursk region there is the 3rd Battalion of the Air Force of the 104th Regiment of Air Force. Earlier it was reported that the Supercam S350M military drones were improved in Russia. According to the developers, the UAV now weighs less, and its flight time has increased by 20%.
