"Shoot" drone-interceptor: the Russian Federation showed a new "gun" against UAV (video)

The new Russian UAV-interceptor automatically recognizes and captures goals with the help of "machine vision", and then goes to the ram. The Russian Federation introduced a portable antironous complex with an anti-aircraft drone-interceptor equipped with a self-introduction. About it writes the portal "Militar" with reference to Russian Telegram-channels.

It is reported that the new antitrone weapon of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is a "rifle" with a drone-interceptor, equipped with a thermal imaging chamber and a system of recognition and capture of goals on the basis of "machine vision". This complex works on the following principle: the operator gives the device to the target, waiting for the interceptor system to capture the object. Then the drone is started on its own and goes to the target offline.

According to the publication, the Russian UAV-interceptor does not have the combat part, but attacks drones by the method of ram, causing them mechanical damage. For example, on a published video, he managed to break down one of the propellers of Dron Met-Met, which was moving at a speed of 80 km/h at a height of 200 meters. The developers claim that a new drone interceptor can be reused. According to the portal, the Russians intend to use this antidron to combat Ukrainian small drones and drones.

The technical characteristics of the device are not revealed. According to the developers, the mentioned UAV-interceptors can also be launched from a stationary ground launcher. It is unknown how such a system can be controlled and go to the goal.

We will remind, earlier the founder of the "Air Intelligence Center" and the leader of the project of Victory Drones Maria Berlinskaya reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation began to attack Ukrainian intelligence drones FPV-Dron, copying the tactics of defense forces of Ukraine.
