The enemy will not get: Ukraine was able to confiscate engines for Ruslan aircraft in the Russian Federation

The Board of Judges of the BCS satisfied the claims of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. The department was destined at the same time as several companies of the aggressor country. Six aircraft engines for Ruslan An-124-100 aircraft, which until recently belonged to the Russian group of companies "Volga-Dnipro" will be transferred to the property of Ukraine. The report of this on August 29 appeared on the website of the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court (VAKS).

It is noted that the Board of Judges of the BCS satisfied the claims of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Office was destined at the same time with several companies: they have applied the sanction provided for in paragraph 11 of part one of Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine "On Sanctions".

"The court decided to recover the assets of Ukraine in the form of six aviation engines for the An-124-100" Ruslan "aircraft, for which the defendants could directly or indirectly take actions identical in content to exercise the right to dispose of them," the statement said. At the same time, the Volge-Dnipro airline can also appeal the decision of the Ukrainian Court. Yes, the Russians have five days to appeal.

It should be noted that in March 2022, the Ruslan, which belongs to the Russian cargo airline Volga-Dnipro, was arrested in Canada. And already in June 2023, during a visit to Ukraine, Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau became aware that the country's government decided to give our country a arrested cargo aircraft. It should also be reminded that on August 16, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine filed a claim for assets against the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
