Shmigal stated that it is inappropriate to redirect money for a telecommunication on the Armed Forces

The government considers such a redistribution of finances inappropriate. The Cabinet systematically attracts all the necessary resources to meet the needs and increase the capabilities of the Armed Forces. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal responded to a petition on the Cabinet of Ministers' website with a request to redeem the funds intended for the Telearaphones of "Single News" and "FREED" for the financing of UAV and pickups for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The head of government believes that such a redistribution of expenditures is not appropriate. Schmigal stated that the financing of the telephone is part of public policy, and the implementation of a single information policy is a priority issue of national security. "The financing of appropriate measures is a significant component of combating the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, in particular in the information space.

Accordingly, the redistribution of expenditures specified in the petition by directing them for the needs of other components of the security and defense sector is not appropriate," the head of the government said.

According to Shmigal, the Cabinet of Ministers on a systematic basis is to work on the involvement and direction of financial, logistical and other resources, including international assistance, to meet the needs and increase the capabilities of the Armed Forces and other components of the security and defense sector.

We will remind, on January 17 the serviceman Pavel Bilous on the Cabinet of Ministers' website created a petition with a call to redirect the funds allocated for financing the funds allocated for the Telexon "Single News" and "FREED". She collected 25,000 signatures for consideration of 25,000 signatures on April 3. On April 1, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech Yaroslav Yurchyshyn announced that at the end of 2024 he would decide whether the marathon would work on.
