"The current problems are caused by the refusal of Gazprom to fulfill its contractual obligations, not by the actions of the Moldovan government," Kishinev emphasized. This decision was made due to the expected cessation of Russian gas from January 1, since gas is now supplied to Transnistria and Moldova transit through Ukraine.
