China caught up with the USA: After 10 years of development, a J-35A fighter with HQ-19 missiles (photo) was created

With the advent of J-35A and J-20, China becomes the second country after the United States, which has two versions of stealth flowers. On November 5, 2024, Colonel Wenbo from the Chinese Air Force Equipment confirmed that the latest Chinese multi-purpose wheelchair fighter medium-sized J-35A will be represented during the 15th Chinese airplane on November 12-17. About it reports xinhua. net.

According to Rupprecht_a Air Expert, which also posted a photo of the fighter on the social network X, the appearance of this aircraft on Airshow China 2024 in Zhukhai will be a sensation. The author of the post noted that it was a plane that has been talked about for many years. And only last September appeared some specific information about this version. Previously, only blurred and very small pictures were published.

According to the Chinese State Edition, during the air show on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, along with the J-35A stealth fighter, they also present for the first Uaks. With the advent of J-35A and J-20, China becomes the second country after the United States, which has two versions of stealth flowers. This is the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation and Aviation Industry Corporation of China.

The J-31 prototype first appeared in 2012 and aroused considerable interest. Subsequently, the J-31 has undergone many changes in the structure, including ramps with straight boom and oblique vertical stabilizers. According to Army Recognition, this version eventually attracted the attention of the NVAC, in particular, the J-35 designation was added. The naval version for the first time rose into the air on October 29, 2021.

Compared to an earlier demonstration version of the FC-31 and a variant of the J-35A marine fighter, the latter has an electro-optical guidance system and a modified supersonic air intake. Along with the J-35A variant, Chinese designers have developed an export model J-35E. But the j-35 maritime version now has no international market, since only some countries have large resources necessary for naval operations.

It is still unclear when the new J-35A fighter will appear in service with the Army of the PRC and where they will be placed. Karl Shuster, former director of the American Pacific Center, also believes that the fighter is probably intended for the Chinese fleet. "The J-35 made the first flight of 2021, but the early prototype derivative may be ready for release at the beginning of next year," Shuster said. According to him, the updated version of the aircraft can have more powerful engines.
