The reason for a blow to Kiev. The expert explained why Putin is staging the UAV attack on the Kremlin

Political scientist Volodymyr Fesenko believes that Russia could pursue several goals, preparing an incident with drones. In addition to a logical explanation for the preparation of a large -scale terrorist attack, there is also a version with a distraction of world attention from its military crimes. Russian President Vladimir Putin can pursue several goals by a re -enactment of attack allegedly Ukrainian UAVs on the Kremlin. Political scientist Volodymyr Fesenko told about this focus.

According to the expert, there are several main reasons why Russia needs a performance with drones in Moscow: "The number one version, which is supported by many experts not only in Ukraine but also abroad, is the creation of a reason for provocation within Ukraine, namely the impact in Kiev or for terrorist acts in our country, ”Fesenko comments. He also believes that this way the Kremlin can distract from recent civilian objects, including homes in Uman and Dnipro.

"In other words, it is the creation of such artificial news - to talk about it," he explained. Another probable cause of attacks on the Kremlin - so Putin tries to cancel the celebrations on Victory Day on May 9 in Moscow. "I think Putin's paranoia aggravated to such a level that he is afraid of participation in mass events, afraid that during the parade they can attempt him," the political scientist comments.

Fesenko reminds that the third President of Egypt Anwar Sadat was killed in October 1981 during a military parade. And it can be a constant reminder for Putin that he can also be a target for a sniper. In many cities of the Russian Federation, as well as in the occupied territories of Ukraine, events have already been canceled on May 9, but to take such a step in Moscow requires a formal excuse, the expert says.

"Let's see if mass events are canceled with Putin's participation, it will mean that the attack was needed for that," Fesenko adds. The expert does not exclude that in this way in Russia they want to increase mobilization measures. "What else is it for? In order to scare the Russians themselves, to create an atmosphere of danger and to start a call to rally around Putin. Thus, the population will be even more controlled by the Kremlin," the political scientist is sure.

Although the consequences of such a UAV action in Moscow may be ambiguous, he also considers. "Such things are really difficult to control psychologically, but certain measures in this direction have already been done - the same construction of fortifications in different regions of Russia, intimidation that Ukrainians make terrorist acts in the Russian Federation, etc. Patriotic War.
