The name of the drone is not yet disclosed, but the publication emphasized its resemblance to the "lancet", which, due to its small size, can be transported by land troops and is widely used in various operations. It is assumed that the new Iranian development and "Lancet" can have similar technical characteristics, including flight time from 30 to 60 minutes, range of 40 kilometers, and the ability to carry a useful load from 3 to 6 kilograms.
The publication was paid attention to the Forbs, noting that the Iranian drone is not identical to the "lancet", but probably has a similar basic structure. At the same time, journalists emphasized that there were no signs that the Russian Federation provided Irani with projects or samples of their Lannta UAV for production on site.
Despite the fact that Lancats are attributed to high efficiency on the battlefield in Ukraine, today Iran exclusively exports drones to Russia without importing Russian apparatus. "It is almost unknown about this new drone, and despite its resemblance to Lancet, I do not think it is a license copy of" Lancet "or based on Russian technologies," said the defense and safety analyst and senior researcher Washington University Farzin Nadimima.
At the same time, Nadimima noted that Lancet is the only Russian UAV, in which Iran may theoretically be interested. Thus, the Shahledi Iranian were based on other developments, including Israeli Harpy/Harop, Chinese ASN-301 and Taiwanese Chien Hsiang. The Quiri could simply observe the design and characteristics of "Lancet", and then instruct their engineers to create an Iranian drone with comparable capabilities.
For his part, the X -Redhorizon social network user indicated that the new UAV is more like a modified copy of the Israeli Uvision Hero EC 400. According to him, a jet engine was added to the Iranian drone. The author of the publication believes that Tehran could design UAV, focusing on the captured Israeli model.
