In the Czech Republic a man inherited a house with Soviet missiles: what he did with them

According to the police, it was not necessary to evacuate neighbors, but the culprit is threatened with imprisonment for illegal handling of weapons. A man who inherited a house from a relative from the Czech Republic was found in the attic by Soviet aviation missiles. Idnes writes about it. The name of the settlement is not broken. When the man saw four missiles, he was forced to call the police.

"The patrol, which went to the place, confirmed the fact of detection of four aviation missiles, probably Soviet production, and therefore provided protection of the place of finding and closed the perimeter," - said police spokesman Libor Gitman. According to him, the evacuation of people was not needed, as the house was located a few tens of meters from the nearest home of neighbors.

The police sappers, which were summoned to the scene, found four empty corps of Soviet unmanaged Aviation missiles C-5M. "That is, these were jet shells without explosive elements and rocket fuels," Getman stressed. Despite the fact that it was not "combat" rockets, police are still investigating the case. It is investigated as a possible crime of illegal handling of weapons. The culprit can threaten up to two years in prison.
