Ukrainian intelligence representative Andriy Yusov confirmed the fact of a fire at the metallurgical plant in Lipetsk and assured that such "cotton" would continue at the Russian military objects. On the night of February 24, explosions in the area of ​​the Novolypetsky Metallurgical Plant (NLMK) were thundered in the Russian Lipetsk, after which a fire broke out.

The event was commented on the air of the TV channel "We - Ukraine" by a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Andriy Yusov. According to Yusov, some sources informed that the explosions occurred exactly where Russian production is located, which is directly involved in the military-industrial complex of the aggressor country. "It is this enterprise that directs steel to produce guns, armor and rockets that kill Ukrainians.

That is, this plant is involved in an enemy out-of-industrial cycle that provides an army of the aggressor," the official said. Yusov did not confirm or refute the information that it was a joint operation of the GUR Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the SBU, but assured that the fact that the enterprise was decommissioned for a long time. "It is said that these were drones of Ukrainian production," the Ukrainian intelligence representative shared the information.

He added that on all military objects of the aggressor state involved in providing such a war of genocide type, will continue to continue "roar and cotton", because it is quite logical that such enterprises "fly something, something falls. " According to eyewitnesses, a hum, like a drone sound at first, and then a loud explosion in the area of ​​the Novolypetsky Metallurgical Plant and smoke appeared.

The governor of Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov stated that "the fire in one of the NLMK workshops". According to him, there are no victims of the incident. NLMK is one of the largest steel mills in Russia. The plant's products are used in strategically important sectors of the economy - from construction and mechanical engineering to the production of energy equipment. In addition, the Novolypets Metallurgical Plant produces a polymer steel.

We will remind, on the night of February 17 on Ordzhonikidze Street, 2, a large fire broke out in the city of Izhevsk. According to the Russian media, at this address there is a chemical enterprise "Izhsynthesis-chemprme" and the shopping center "New House". The premises were given to the production of drones last year. Earlier, on February 15, a fire began at the oil depot in Russian Kursk.
