Most Russians would like to ask Putin when the war is over - a survey

According to the Levada Center, 21% of Russian citizens are most concerned about mobilization, the so-called "their" and the victory of Russia. On the eve of the "straight line" with Russian President Vladimir Putin, scheduled for December 14, most Russians would like to ask him when the war in Ukraine is over. This is evidenced by the data of the Levada Center. According to the results of this poll, almost 21% of respondents expressed interest in this problem.

The question concerned the end of war, mobilization, and when Russia can win. 8% of respondents are interested in issues related to pensions, social programs, housing, medicine and education. Another 7% are concerned about low salaries and prospects for improving quality of life. However, only 2% of respondents showed interest in foreign policy issues and corruption issues.

In addition, 10% of citizens did not want to ask any questions to the President, and 20% have difficulty in formulating specific requests. The Levada-Center was conducted from November 23 to 29, 2023. The survey was conducted on the All -Russian representative sample, which covers both the urban and rural population. The sample volume was 1625 people aged 18 years and older, represented in 137 settlements and 50 entities of the Russian Federation.

The research methodology included a personal interview conducted directly at the respondents at home. The survey results are presented as a percentage of the total number of respondents. Earlier, the results of the survey showed that most Russians are ready to support Vladimir Putin if he announces the end of hostilities, but if new territories are preserved.
