It is easier to write off drones: Zelensky signed a law on property in the Armed Forces

Earlier, the unit commander issued 40 documents to write off Dron Kamikadze. Thanks to the decision of the people's deputies and the President, it now requires a single act of writing off. The Law of 3411-IX came into force, through which the commanders of the Defense Forces were able to write off the property that failed during the fighting. From now on, commanders do not have to hold additional agreements to write off, for example, a drone that has been hit by the positions of Russian invaders.

Information that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed the relevant law published on the Verkhovna Rada portal. The card of Law 3411-IX states that the President signed on the document on February 6. The signed document concerns amendments to the Law "On the Legal Regime of Property in the Armed Forces of Ukraine". In particular, some additions are made in Article 4 of this Law.

The text states that the commanders have been authorized to write off the property on their own, worth up to 100 thousand non -taxable minimum incomes of citizens (up to UAH 1. 7 million). It is enough for them to issue an appropriate order. It is also indicated what exactly should be done when the property is destroyed during the fighting. The commander draws up an act of writing off, which within 30 days is approved by the Armed Forces Command and Commanders of Other Parts of Defense Forces.

At least two people who have witnessed the destruction of property should be under the act. It should be noted that the MPs were adopted in October 2023 in October 2023. Earlier, commanders, for example, UAVs, had up to 40 "papers" - they wrote about it on the "Public" portal. Such a number of papers was required, for example, in the case of use of a drone with an estimated value of up to UAH 2 million on the battlefield.
