Not on the front: how Ukraine will respond to the offensive of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in June - ISW

The Ukrainian military plan to strike on critically important military sites of Russia. These are airfields and command and dispatching points, said ISW analysts. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are preparing for the offensive in June to try to seize Donetsk and Luhansk regions, instead, Ukraine will continue to strike on military objects on the enemy. This was reported by analysts of the Institute of War Study in the daily report on April 18.

On April 17, the head of the GUR MOU Kirill Budanov stated that Ukraine would counteract the future offensive operations of the enemy by continuing the strikes on military objects of the Russian Federation. In particular, he noted that GUR plans to strike the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, critically important military objects, including aerodromes and command-dispatching points.

According to Budanov, these blows should show that Russian President Vladimir Putin cannot protect the population from the war. ISW analysts emphasized that the Armed Forces attacks for military purposes in the Russian Federation are "an appropriate component of the campaign of Ukraine" for the elimination of industries that support Russian military potential.

Analysts added that recent Ukrainian strikes in the Russian Federation were threatened by Russian oil refining, exports, increased pressure on air defense, and demonstrated that the strikes of Ukraine were limited by the number of weapons of their own production. We will remind, on April 18 in the media reported that the Russian Federation lost the only radar system after the attacks of Ukrainian UAVs deep into the enemy territory.
