Explosions in Kiev: the capital and the region attacked Russian drones, combat work continues

According to local authorities, UAVs are still flying in the region and at any time can turn to Kiev, if the air defense calculations are not able to destroy them by this point. The Russian armed forces attacked Kyiv and the region with the use of percussion drones. On Wednesday, October 16, the press service of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA) reports. According to the authorities, all drones were shot on the approaches to the Ukrainian capital.

At the same time, drones are still being recorded in the Kiev region, and combat work of air defense calculations is underway. The KMVA was warned that these UAVs could turn to Kiev. "But it is possible that hostile drones can direct the vector of traffic to Kiev and in the capital will be declared air alarm. So I ask the people of Kyivans and guests of the city to listen to the signals of alert and in case of danger to use protective structures. Care yourself!" - the administration is reported.

We will remind, the day earlier, October 15, Russia was massively attacked by Ukraine with the use of UAVs and missiles. The forces of defense managed to intercept 12 out of 17 UAVs. Also on October 15 it became known that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation used C-300 missiles to attack on Nikolaev. As a result of this attack, a woman was killed, 16 more were injured. Infrastructure, restaurant complex, trade pavilions, dwellings and cars were damaged. There were strong fires.
