The Council approved the mobilization

The defense forces will not be able to get, among others, those who committed crimes against the basics of national security, terrorist attacks or premeditated murder of two or more persons. On Wednesday, May 8, the Ukrainian Parliament approved in the second reading the bill # 11079-1, which enables certain categories of imposed to be mobilized to the Armed Forces. The People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported about it in his own telegram.

He testified that the Verkhovna Rada adopted the project of the law on the mobilization of convicted persons in general, while "voted for 279 parliamentarians. In addition, Zheleznyak noted that the risks of fire -corruption, which was spoken by the Anti -Corruption Committee, were only partially removed. So, according to the People's Deputy, the convicted deputies and partially the fire corruption will not be able to mobilize.

Similarly, the Armed Forces will not be convicted of the following crimes: the rest of the convicted persons may be used to be paid conditionally, for their entry into the Armed Forces under contract. This provision is applied during mobilization and/or martial law in the country. At the same time, if the convicted person who is released for the UDZ is evading military service under the contract, this act is punishable by the new Art.

336-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine-imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years. Bill No. 11079-1 also provides for certain procedures for obtaining the consent of the convicted person, commander of the military unit, as well as undergoing a medical examination at the Military Medical Commission.
