Strikes in warehouses and airfields of the Russian Federation: how it will change the situation on the front - isw

According to analysts, strikes can make the occupiers make a decision to reorganize and dispersion systems of support and logistics in the rear. Strokes on objects in Russia can affect the offensive capabilities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. Analytics of the Institute for War Study (ISW) are given this opinion.

The new report states that on October 9 and 10, the Ukrainian forces were struck on the basis of storage of Shahheda drones in Krasnodar region, as well as in the composition of ammunition in the Republic of Adigey. According to analysts, Russian troops rely on Shahaned UAV for strikes both on the frontal and rear Ukrainian settlements. In addition, the occupiers consume about 10,000 artillery shells a day to beat the leading positions of the Armed Forces.

The ISW reminded that in September 2024, Ukrainian troops were struck in the ammunition warehouses "Oktyabrsky", "Toropets" in Tverskaya region and "Tikhoretsk" in Krasnodar region, and on October 8 - on the Russian base of storage of missiles and ammunition in Karachev region. All this, as reported, has led to the destruction of dozens of buildings for storage of ammunition, railway cars and probably a large number of shells, missiles and UAVs.

Analysts noted that the consequences of one impact are unlikely to significantly affect the efforts of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, but repeated strikes can make the occupiers make decisions on reorganization and dispersion of systems of support and logistics in the rear.

Experts have stated that the removal of restrictions on the use of Western weapons and the further development of Ukraine's own potential can enable defense forces more effectively to use Russian vulnerabilities before Russia has launched counter -commissions. We will remind, the air expert Konstantin Krivolap stated that the Russians after the UAV attacks remained only 3 carriers of "daggers".
