Excursions are organized for students and their parents, and individual lessons and extracurricular activities are held. Full -time learning in the standard format begins from January 1. Children of one of the Gymnasiums of Zaporozhye will study in the new room from 1st to 9th grade. Previously, the classes were held only online because the school did not have a shelter required for mixed lessons.

"500 people are scheduled for replacement. Two shifts are a thousand children. We now have 654 children at school. There are 436 children in Zaporozhye. And about 80% visited school here. We held excursions. We are now testing this room, we will organize training," - said the director of the educational institution Lyudmila Zlatova. According to her, full work begins from January 1. The second shift is planned to conduct classes in the format "Lesson of extended day".

Nearby is a kindergarten, the senior group of which will also be engaged here and then become our first classes. If there are free premises, other schools will be asked to hold different measures. During the extracurricular time and weekends in the premises of the underground school in Zaporozhye, circles and sections for extracurricular training will function. The school provides 16 classrooms.

Its construction was financed at the expense of subsidies of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (80%) and local, regional and city budgets (20%). Currently, 11 more underground educational institutions are being erected in the region. It is planned to complete the construction of four more schools by the end of the year. The learning process will probably begin only two of them, since furniture supply is expected in January.

In total, the construction of 11 schools is currently underway. Each of them usually has an area of ​​about 1300 square meters, and the cost of construction is about UAH 110-115 million. However, costs may vary depending on the features of the soil, geodetic conditions and the presence of groundwater. "Since we were built 30 kilometers from the front line, the typical project we received from UNICEF was a little improved in the part of the thickness of the overlap.
