Minimum 5 years: Russia will continue stable oil production despite sanctions - Bloomberg

The report of the International Energy Agency states that in 2025 Moscow will receive 10. 77 million barrels daily, and by 2030 - 10. 83. This figure is still lower than before the introduction of international restrictions, but remains stable. The International Energy Agency (IEA) believes that oil production in Russia remains stable and in the next 5 years, despite the restrictive measures by the event, it is unlikely that something will change. This is stated in Bloomberg.

According to the Energy Agency, a new Arctic project will help to stay afloat, where the state -owned company "Rosneft" will soon start to produce oil. Accordingly, sanctions are likely to not interfere with it. Separately, IAA added that in 2025 Moscow will be able to extracted from 10. 77 million barrels daily. By 2030, this figure will be 10. 83 million barrels.

At the same time, production was still lower than in 2022 before the invasion of Ukraine and the introduction of international sanctions for this reason. Since then, they write in the material, the Kremlin has tried to adapt to new restrictions and used a huge shadow fleet of tankers to sell its oil asian countries. "Russia acknowledges that significant future development will require more capital and expensive technologies that have become more difficult to obtain through sanctions.

But we expect the proposal to remain in general stable until 2030, since the leading Russian manufacturer" Rosneft "will continue to develop its giant Vostok. Oil, which will help to compensate for the reduction of production at aging deposits, " - says the Mea report, which was presented the day before in Paris.

The Russian project of Vostok Oil includes several oil and gas deposits on Taimir Peninsula and after 2022 many international traders decided to sell their share there so as not to fall under sanctions. Despite this, Moscow plans to continue working in this area and wants to start oil production this year. We will remind, on June 5 it was reported that the income of the aggressor from oil exports in May increased.
