Several Russian guidance bloggers complained that Russian troops had to prevent Ukrainian offensive operations in the Kursk region, as Russian troops knew that the Armed Forces had accumulated forces and means in the area over the last few months. Some of the bloggers complained that due to the inadequate reaction of the Russian military command, in their view, there was no concern about the accumulation forces.
It was also mentioned about unjustified confidence in Russian defense in the border area, the assumption of fatigue of Ukrainian troops. The Russian Provivsk Blogosphere also contained criticism of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Andriy Belousov for not conducting an audit of the combat command system to eliminate inefficient commanders after joining the post of Minister of Defense.
