Democracy in Russia is impossible. Even after the era of Vladimir Putin's reign,...

Some believe in democracy in Russia after Putin. And how Democrats will come there to power

Democracy in Russia is impossible. Even after the era of Vladimir Putin's reign, not only Western intellectuals, but also part of Ukrainian intellectuals believes that democracy is possible in Russia after Vladimir Putin. I don't even want to ask, and who is Democrat there. I have a simple question: how will Democrats come to power? Obviously, Democrats can only come to power as a result of democratic elections.

This means not only the existence of many parties in the electoral list, but also the following: 1. Equal access of all parties to the media. 2. Ability to safely campaign on the streets. 3. Public control over election commissions. 4. Courts that do not play individual candidates. Where independent media will come from in Russia, the police who protect the agitators from bandits, and at least some courts are unknown. For example, Martian can occupy Russia to hold honest elections.

But civil society, without which honest elections are impossible, they will not be able to bring from Mars, it must be grown on the ground. But still, suppose that pink unicorn (crossed out) Marsians occupied Russia for the purpose of holding fair transparent elections under international supervision. Who will win then? The party of restaurant, revenge, insults and revenge will win.

The party of very left-wing economic approaches will win in combination with very right political approaches-literally, national socialists.

If the Democrats come to power not as a result of the elections, but in the armed route (interesting, how much in the present Russia is ready to fight for democracy), then in the process of this struggle they will lose the ideals of democracy, freedom and brotherhood, and even more so in the process of preserving and consolidating power over power a huge empire. If there are Democrats in Russia, let them try to create a small democratic country, such as Ingria with the capital in St. Petersburg.
