In "militaristic" it is added that theoretically camouflage should protect against identification by sea drones. The first such facts were recorded in June 2023.

The camouflage system must confuse the drone operator to perceive the ship for a lesser target. However, the Ukrainian drones use thermal imaging chamber, so camouflage in this case is ineffective. Therefore, the authors suggest that in the Russian Federation they want to protect themselves from reconnaissance UAVs, which have only optical reconnaissance. The cameras should have a low resolution so that the ship model cannot be installed visually.
