Afraid of drone attacks: Russians build protective hangers for aviation at a distance of 300 km (photo)

Journalists noted that due to the lack of specialized stationary reinforced concrete shelters, Russian aviation continues to suffer losses from drones and missiles. The Russians began to build airfields to protect aviation from shock drones and rockets with a cassette combat unit. This was reported by Militarnyi, with reference to a photo with new aerodrome hangars, which were posted on the social network H.

The picture can be seen 12 new hangars, which are shelter for the front bombers of the Su-24 and fighter bombers of Su-34. "According to the Russians, the development of aerodrome hangars should ensure the protection of aircraft from arrival of shock drones, as well as from the subbovitas of the Ballistic missile ATACMS," the material reads. Journalists noted that the use of hangars will not allow satellites and other optical means to find out whether an empty hangar or there is a plane.

"It is unknown at this time that the materials are made of the Angar, but judging by their appearance, they are probably with minimal protection against debris. Earlier to protect aviation, shelters were already installed in the Russian Federation, which were covered with profiled letters," Militarnyi said. According to journalists, the use of profiled sheets to create hangars do not give the desired protection against debris because they have a small thickness.
