According to the Head of State, Russia does not leave attempts to deal with the citizen of Ukraine Mikhail Saakashvili and does so with the help of Georgian authorities. Official Kiev has repeatedly appealed to Tbilisi to stop the abuse of a person and turn it back to Ukraine, but the case has not shifted. International partners also appealed to the same call, but even it did not help.
"Right now, Russia is killed by a citizen of Ukraine Mikhail Saakashvili by the hands of the Georgian authorities. Today I instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to summon Ambassador to Georgia to Ukraine, to give him a decisive protest and to invite Ukraine to leave Ukraine for 48 hours for consultation with its capital," - said.
Separately, Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on Georgian authorities to transfer politics to Ukraine, where he would be provided with the necessary assistance and treatment. The head of state also asked for help from Western allies so that they do not ignore the mockery of Georgia's expansion and did everything possible to help him.
