New Threat to Ukraine: How many Missiles X-69 can Russian SU-57 carry

A new air threat to Ukraine has recently emerged-the X-69 missiles, which are launched from SU-57 fighters. Defense Express experts answer the questions how many such aircraft have and how many of them can carry such rockets. The concept of anxiety through the rise of Rashist Su-57 as a carrier of the X-69 missiles was initially at the unofficial level of monitoring publications, and now it has come out at the official level.

For example, today the ArmyForm edition has quoted the answer of Major Elijah Air Forces spokesman in the Maphone "One News" about which principle is announced by air alarm through the take-off of the Su-57 aircraft. Yevlash replied in general that anxiety is declared for those regions that can be most likely to be fired, and that different sources of data are used, including partner countries.

Against this background, it may seem that Russian invaders have only started to use Su-57 aircraft in the war against Ukraine. But this is not true. To begin with, we should remind that Defense Express told the first episodes of the Su-57 aircraft for strikes in Ukraine in April 2022. Then the enemy beat from these aircraft with rockets of type X-59 on objects in the Kirovograd region and on port infrastructure in the Odessa region, without a measure in the airspace of our country.

Well, for its part, the UK Ministry of Defense in one of its reports of January 2023 claimed that the Russian Federation began to use the SU-57 in the war against Ukraine since June 2022, both for hits on land purposes and for the use of missiles " air-air. " The intensity of the use of these aircraft was not given, there was only an indication that at least 5 Su-57 aircraft were located at the 929th Testing Center of the Russian Defense Ministry in Akhtubinsk.

If you estimate the probable amount of SU-57 at the PCS of the Russian Federation, then we can only assume that it can be from ten aircraft. Because here we can only use the statements of Russian propagandists that in 2022 they were able to produce as many as six aircraft of this type, thanks to somehow the number of serial SO-57 serials amounted to 10 units at that time. Well, also an assessment of the authoritative IISS that the Rashist MIC in 2023 produced in particular "several" SU-57.
