The Fleet of the Russian Federation will run to the Caspian: which fleet is needed by Ukraine - a military observer (video)

In 2024, Russia will be forced to bring its ships to the inner Sea. Ukraine has to do everything possible to allow the occupants to use only border boats in the Black Sea, says Alexander Kovalenko. If the country has no goal to dominate the oceans, it does not need large groups of ships, submarine or aircraft carriers. For Ukraine, the Black Sea is a priority, so it is enough for a small component of sea vessels, which are as armed, fast and shunting, for example, small rocket boats or corvettes.

Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military-political observer of "Information Resistance", told this in an interview with focus. "When a small corvette ship has an armed missile installation, it is already a problem for such a flagship as the destroyed Russian cruiser" Moscow "," the analyst said. .

Ukraine has already agreed with Turkey on the construction of corvettes for the Navy of Ukraine, which will allow to cooperate in the future even more deeply with NATO countries in the maritime aspect in the same Mediterranean Sea, says the analyst. In addition, the Corvets will be able to make US Britain's campaigns and participate in joint exercises.

Of course, Turkey now controls the exit from the Black Sea and does not let in or release warships of any countries, but after the war there will be no problems, emphasizes Alexander Kovalenko. This approach is connected not only with the Montre Convention, but also by the fact that Ukraine now makes no sense to receive new ships, because in the approach they can be destroyed by Russian invaders.

In the future, such a small but good armed fleet of corvettes and rocket ships can be used even in waters near Africa, the analyst said. Niche ships can be used for safety of passing commercial ships, protection against piracy and so on. "If we talk about the general perspective of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, it seems to me that in 2024 Russia will be forced to bring its ships to the Caspian Sea, emphasizes Alexander Kovalenko. , but not frigates, corvettes or submarines.
