According to lawyer Ivan Liberman, they can mobilize people with disabilities of group III even on the basis that Ukrainian citizens should serve in the army by law. According to the lawyer, this bill was posted on the Parliament's website, but the Law of Ukraine "On Mobilization Training and Mobilization" (Article 23) stipulates that persons with disabilities during the specified period can be called for military service only with their consent and only at the place residence. At the same time, Liberman notes that group III is a slight disability, that is, it is a slight health disorder that allows a person to fight.

"There are different ways to participate in hostilities. You can raise ammunition, dig trenches or cook food, etc. That is, the Armed Forces service can be completely different, the so -called alternative service," the lawyer explains. According to the current legislation, they are not subject to conscription during the mobilization of the military: the lawyer draws attention that in Art.

However, he adds that they can mobilize people with disabilities of group III even on the basis that Ukrainian citizens should serve in the army in accordance with the legislation.
