In the Russian Federation use airships against drones of the Armed Forces: what is known about new ideas of Russians

The Russians hope that the airship will have time to unfold the grid to catch the shock drone of the Armed Forces, which is rugged, for example, at the oil depot, journalists told. The grid will hang at an altitude of up to 300 m. The Russian Federation will try to protect military objects from strikes of drones of defense forces by means of airship. The new ideas of the Russians told RIA Novosti RIA. Journalists of the Russian Agency spoke with the director of the company "Pervy Air" Pauline Albeck. The woman told that the Russian inventors invented and successfully tested the system called "barrier". She described how the system works. At some point, for example, a signal of approaching drones of the Armed Forces is received. Then the airships raise the air and deploy a grid weighing up to 30 kg. A shock drone should be confused in this grid.

The idea was tested at the landfill and it works successfully, Albeck is convinced. The height at which UAVs can catch up to 300 m, she told reporters. The conference was attended by more than 10 companies, representatives of the administration of Belgorod region, Russian military from UAV units and representatives of the Ministry of Defense. Participants were consulted with how to detect drones at long distances and how to protect military facilities from them in the Russian Federation.
