The Russian Federation will lose resources to war: Budanov told when it can happen

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have one advantage over the Ukrainian military - the number of personnel. Other resources of the Russian Federation have been exhausted for several years, are convinced of intelligence. The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MOU) Kirill Budanov stated that Russian resources for the war can soon be exhausted. He reported this in an interview with The Economist.

He noted that the only advantage of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation over the Armed Forces is the number of personnel. "Human resources in Russia, relatively speaking, is unlimited. The quality is low, but the amount is sufficient," Kirill Budanov said. According to him, the Russian economy will only be able to last until 2025, while the flow of weapons will cease in 2026, or earlier.

In addition, the negotiations of the Russian Federation and the DPRK are obvious proof of this problem, because if the Russian Federation was all good, they would not look for resources "around the world". Kirill Budanov believes that Ukraine can also lose its resources. "We are dependent on external players. Russia depends mostly on ourselves," he said. In particular, a long war is dangerous, because it depletes not only Ukraine's internal resources but also western partners.

Budanov stated that yet "absolutely not defined" how long Western countries will be able to support "sufficient supply of resources" to Ukraine. "Warehouses in Western countries are not quite empty. Whatever anyone said," the GUR MO added. According to him, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation may lose a land connection with temporarily occupied Crimea before winter. In particular, the Armed Forces have already managed to break through the first line of defense of the enemy in the most important southern direction in the Zaporozhye region. On September 12, Kirill Budanov stated that the war in Ukraine could only end with a return to administrative border as of 1991. He noted that otherwise the conflict will last all life.
