Improved the Soviet veteran: the Russian Federation showed a modernized Mi-24P-1M helicopter helicopter

The exhibition in the Moscow region also presented a complex of defense of the Aircraft Aircraft "President-S", which is designed to protect aircraft and helicopters from the missiles "Air-Air" and MSRC. At the exhibition "Army-2024" in the Russian Federation concern "Radioelectronic Technologies" (Creta) presented a modernized version of Mi-24P-1M combat helicopter, which is currently undergoing factory tests.

On the stand of Creta in the pavilion of Rostekh, a promising system of opto-electronic protection "President-S" was also demonstrated. August 13 was reported by Army Recognition. CEO Creta Oleksandr Pan emphasized the importance of demonstrating the new company developments. According to him, the constant improvement of technologies is based on reviews about the use of their equipment in the war zone in Ukraine.

Mi-24P-1M, a modernized version of the famous Mi-24 shock helicopter, was developed taking into account the needs of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The updated version is allegedly equipped with state-of-the-art electronic systems, including advanced digital technologies, which are already successfully used on other helicopters, such as KA-52 and Mi-28mm.

Key Improvement Mi-24P-1M: The Creta stand also presented a system of opto-electronic protection "President-S" intended for the protection of aircraft and helicopters from the missiles "Air-Bilter" and portable anti-aircraft missile complexes. The developers argue that the onboard defense complex of the aircraft automatically detects rocket launches and uses passive and active means of counteraction in infrared and radios, disrupting the work of missiles and redirecting them for false purposes.

The modular design "President-S" makes it possible to flexibly install the system inside and at the external points of mounting of the fuselage of both military and civilian aircraft and helicopters. According to Russian profile resources, the complex was already tested, during which the helicopter was fired from the needle "needle" at a distance of about 1 km.
