Fake Fox News, Le Monde, Der Spiegel: Russian Federation has created sites for lies about Israel and Ukraine

Fake messages are generated in different languages through artificial intelligence, investigators told. These messages are automatically distributed on the X network and can affect any elections. The Russian misinformation network spreads false information about events in the Gaza and Ukraine sector. To do this, create special sites in different languages, which fully copy portals of well -known information agencies.

The details of the network activity of the Russian special services were told by the Israeli edition of Haaretz. The article states that the journalists got acquainted with the materials that refer to a network called Doppelganger. The first to talk about its existence in France - then found out that a certain network of bots on social networks spread reports of special sites where anti -Semitic images were published.

Subsequently, the researchers noted that the misinformation campaign began even in October 2023, when in Europe they responded to a terrorist attack by Hamas and Israelites. The first signs found in June, which concluded that the activity of this network is really related to the Kremlin, writes Haaretz. They noted that the Russians used "new technological capabilities". For example, artificial intelligence invented a provocative content that "added fuel to the already explosive online environment.

" The researchers then realized why the campaign was called Doppelganger or the "double". In particular, the network has found exact copies of Le Monde, Le Figaro, Le Parisien (France), Der Spiegel, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Die Welt, Bild (Germany), Israeli sites Mako, Liberal. The Israeli edition cited several false messages, which found, for example, on the double of the Great Information Portal of the Israelites Walla News.

At the same time the fake site began to work immediately after October 8 and completely repeated the color solution and style of the original portal. The Russians published "News" written on Hebrew, which referred to anti -Semitic pogroms in Dagestan, which accused the special services of Ukraine and Turkey. The US President Joe Baiden from the White House was also told when anti -Jewish performances began in Washington.

There were articles that argued that "global anti -Semitism is in Biden's hands, anti -Semitism and the path to the destruction of Israel is an integral part of the left liberal ideology. " On the foxnews (fox-news. in) website, articles aimed at English-language audiences were published. For example, it was reported that "financial assistance will be redirected from Ukraine to Israel". It was also pointed out that "Kiev is blackmailing the United States in the war with the Russian Federation.

" For German -speaking audience, the Russians wrote that the rise in gas prices is a consequence of events in Israel: "Israel's policy contributes to the energy crisis that EU countries face after Russia's invasion of Ukraine," - it came to an article written by special services of the Russian Federation. Another direction is the use of the X network (formerly Twitter) to spread misinformation, the media said.

For this purpose, 6,000 fake accounts were created, which published 27,000 reports on the situation in Israel within one night. According to the researcher with whom the journalists spoke, artificial intelligence was used to generate such an array of messages. The program generated posts in different languages, whereby the operator had the opportunity to scale his work.

"If the operator decides to disrupt any major elections or increase tensions during a serious crisis, he will be able to do so definitely," the interlocutor of the publication said. Earlier, Focus published the details of Le Monde investigation into the dissemination of images with anti -Semitic slogans. French investigators found out that the same images spread botthars on Facebook and X.

They indicated that France's intelligence services really found that the network seemed to be the news sites of the DOPPELGänger project was really involved in the game of Russia. We remind that Roszmi published data of polls of Russian citizens, according to which Russians will not trust the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who are fighting in Ukraine.
