The British Defense Ministry noted that the Russian military could work in zones near the NPP, in particular, used artillery units located there for blows on the opposite bank of the Dnieper. "The Russian forces probably used a larger territory of the object, including the neighboring city of Energodar, to rest their forces, using a protected nuclear power plant status to reduce the risk for its equipment and personnel from nighttime Ukrainian attacks," the statement reads.
