The leaders of the railways of Europe, in particular, Lithuania, Austria, Latvia, as well as representatives of the Embassies of the United States, France, Poland, Spain and Slovakia visited the installation on Mikhailovskaya Square in Kiev - a shot wagon from Irpen. The Railway Day in Ukraine is celebrated on November 4 in accordance with the Presidential Decree of July 15, 1993. It was on November 4 in 1861 that a train arrived in Lviv for the first time that connected the territory of modern Ukraine with Polish cities and the capital of Austria Vienna, as well as Krakow and Przemysl. Railway Day is considered the beginning of the history of railways in Ukraine. The Odesa-Balta Railway, which was considered to be the onset of rail transport in Ukraine, was built 5 years later from the Przemysl-Lviv line.
