In addition, the spiritual and religious needs of the military will be organized. In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the first and only rabbi to this moment appeared to be engaged in Jewish soldiers. It is a rabbi Dmitry (David) Milman, who became the first similar servant in the Ukrainian army. In the organization in which it is located, 143 Jewish communities and organizations from all over Ukraine. He was authorized by the Head of the Military Chaplaincy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Colonel Alexei Tereshchuk, using the Law of Ukraine "On the Military Chaplaincy Service".

"At this time, it is the first and only rabbi, which officially cooperates with the Armed Forces in the field of organization of measures on the spiritual and religious needs of servicemen, their families, as well as in the field of humanitarian support," the statement reads.
