New NATO Coalition: Zelensky proposes to knock down the Russian missiles over Ukraine

After delivery to Ukraine F-16, it is logical to involve allies' aviation in the protection of the sky. Ukrainian diplomats will organize a thematic meeting with partners, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. Ukraine wants to reconcile NATO's creation of a coalition of countries to intercept Russian missiles. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated this during the celebrations for the Air Force Day, where the first F-16 fighters were presented.

According to the Head of State, more technical capabilities should be worked out to protect the sky over Ukraine. "It seems to me that this decision is probably difficult for partners. They are always afraid of extra escalation. We are fighting it, we will work on it," the President stressed. This coalition is indeed lacking today, and it will be a great responsibility for one country to take responsibility and help the Armed Forces to knock Russian missiles, he added.

"Yes, they [Russian troops] beat Ukraine, but they beat our neighbors. Of course, first and foremost, the Alliance countries," Zelensky emphasized. The President has already given the task of Ukrainian diplomats to work with NATO on the development of a corresponding meeting, where the parties will discuss the protection of the Ukrainian sky. He considers the convening of a meeting of the Ukraine-Ukraine-NATO Council.
