The occupiers again fired at the frontline TPP: what is the situation in the power system

The Ukrenergo again record a deficit, and therefore involved emergency assistance from neighboring countries. Ukrainians are asked to save and reduce consumption. Russian troops do not leave attempts to destroy the Ukrainian power system. Today, the invaders once again fired at one of the frontline thermal power plants. This was reported in the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine. It is noted that the equipment of the TPP was damaged. In addition, the enemy is not the first to shoot the station.

The ministry says that three power units were stopped due to shelling. Because of this, electricity shortages were recorded in the power system. It should be noted that DTEK reported that the occupiers have attacked one of the TPPs near the line for the third time. In particular, the energy object has attacked the eighth times for the last one and a half months. Ukrenergo reports that there was a shortage in the power system.

Because of this, Ukraine has involved emergency aid from Romania and Poland from 11:00 to 19:00. Energy say that such assistance is emergency and expensive, so they ask Ukrainians to consume less electricity. For this purpose, "Ukrenergo" is asked to consumers do not switch on powerful devices at the same time, but if possible to move home affairs on weekends. In addition, entrepreneurs are not asked to turn on the shops and Christmas garlands by 19:00 and reduce the brightness of the showcases.

On November 28, the Center for Energy Research reported that a large deficit may occur in the power system of Ukraine at temperatures below 8 degrees frost. Therefore, in the event of such a situation in Ukraine may introduce schedules for light shutdown. In order to avoid this situation, consumers are asked to save electricity. Nevertheless, at the end of October, the Ministry of Energy stated that the Ukrainian power system was ready for the heating season.
