IAI has introduced the Teaser revolutionary rocket: what is the feature of weapons (photo)

For the first time in such a system of weapons used ACLOS technology, which allows to do without global navigation satellite systems. Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has officially presented an innovative Teaser missile system, which first used the technology of external optical guidance of Automatic Command to Line-of-Off-Sight (ACLOS) without the use of self-treatment sensor. In fact, this is the first technological solution adapted to the modern battlefield, especially for infantry units.

Innovation was told in more detail in Defense Industry Europe. The Teaser system is designed to improve the efficiency of troops in modern combat conditions, offering universal managed weapons for various operational tasks. The size of the rocket - 70 cm long and 8. 4 cm in diameter - facilitate its integration into the available weapons configurations and make it compatible with different optical devices.

The guidance system, called Teaser-Sight, has internal channels of day and night vision, which allows you to quickly adapt to combat conditions. The Teaser rocket is capable of striking a wide range of targets, including light -hearted machines, land positions, low -percent air purposes and moving objects. The main advantage of the system is independence from global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), which increases its autonomy in combat operations and makes it effective in the absence of GPS.

The key innovation is the external optical guidance system of Teaser-Sight, which deprives the need for traditional self-introduction sensors, reducing the weight and cost of the rocket. Teaser-Sight can also connect to different external sensors, increasing reliability and versatility. The rocket is equipped with a two -stage engine that allows you to fire from closed premises, which is especially important in urban conditions.

The Teaser system supports two modes of operation: azer start and remote start mode. In the first case, one soldier can use the Teaser-Sight rocket and system, reaching the benefits of high mobility. In remote mode, rocket can be deployed from starting installations on vehicles or on the ground, and the system management is carried out through a ground station.
