"Looking for possible sources": People's Deputy denied the cancellation of payments to the military of 30 thousand UAH (video)

The representative of the President in the Verkhovna Rada and the People's Deputy of Ukraine from the party "Servant of the People" Fedir Venislavsky on the air of Radio NV. According to the People's Deputy, 10-100 billion additional funds from the state budget per year are required to implement a previously approved amendment for the return of the acquisition. "Unfortunately, this is a really political populism," the Venislav Verkhovna Rada commented on the return of payments.

The deputy mentioned that the costs of the defense sector had previously increased, which became an additional burden on the state budget. He also noted that he personally supported the amendment to pay 30 thousand hryvnias. "The whole hall voted for the act of populism," the People's Deputy stated. Venislavsky said that he could not predict how the process of returning payments will be implemented. According to him, the government now has discussions about where to get additional funds.

"I am not ready to talk unambiguously about the deviation of this amendment. The decision will be made. I repeat. We are now looking for possible sources of coverage of these costs," the People's Deputy said. On Monday, April 10, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted in favor of the bill No. 8312, which provides for the return of allowances to the military, as well as employees of the SES and police.

The People's Deputy of Ukraine from "European Solidarity" Alexei Goncharenko stated that additional funds will be paid until the end of martial law in the country. At the same time, Fedor Venislavsky said that in order to implement this solution, you first need to find additional sources of financing. The People's Deputy noted that it would not be easy.

On Tuesday, April 11, the People's Deputy from Voice Volodymyr Tsabal introduced the Project on the abolition of the bill, which provides for the return of additional 30 thousand hryvnias to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Tsabal stated that it is unfair to pay the same allowances, regardless of the place of service. In addition, this decision now cannot be implemented due to lack of money in the budget.
