The Ukrainian drone has overcome the distance of more than 1800 km. This is a new record figure - the previous goal was 140 km closer to the Ukrainian border. The drone of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine attacked the radar station of long -range detection of goals "Voronezh M", located in the city of Orsk, Orenburg region of the Russian Federation.

As reported on May 27, the source of focus in special services, the impact UAV has overcome the distance of more than 1800 kilometers to the enemy object, setting a new record of the lesion range for drones-Kamikadze. Previously, the most remote goal, attacked by Ukrainian drones, was an object in Salavat (Bashkortostan), located 140 kilometers closer to the Ukrainian border compared to Orsk. The consequences of the lesion are clarified, so the struck station is unknown.

Also, at the time of the publication, neither Ukrainian nor Russian officials commented on the event. Voronezh M is an integral part of the family of Russian stationary pre -horizontal radar stations. They are designed to identify space and aerodynamic objects, including ballistic and winged missiles. Such objects have begun to be built in Russia since 2005 - they have replaced the outdated radar type "Dariaal" and "Dnepr".
