Arey and Magur were at risk of death in a destroyed house in Kharkiv region. When the birds were rescued, they were lucky to be under the care of the intelligence leader Kiril Budanov. In the Kiev Zoo will settle "full -time" owners of the Main Directorate of Intelligence. This was announced on August 2. On August 1, the zoo was solemnly handed over by two owls who will live in a special airborne.

The birds are called Aye and Magur, and their fate could be tragic if it were not for Ukrainian defenders. During the combat mission in the area of ​​Liptsi village in the Kharkiv region, the fighters of the BPAC Company 92 OShBr came across the owls. The birds were hungry and exhausted in a cage, which was left in a destroyed shelling of the house. The warriors evacuated the owls who would simply die without help.

An owl is a symbol of GUR, so the brigade decided to pass the smaller brothers rescued in the care of the department. So the birds found themselves in the chief of intelligence Kirill Budanov. He decided to entrust the Area and Maguri Zoo. "This is General Budanov's position that it should be a common joy. And Ukrainian children will first and foremost have the opportunity to communicate with Ukrainian scoops," said GUR Andriy Yusov.

Intelligence expressed gratitude for the fact that the zoo focused on the rehabilitation of evacuated animals from the front. CEO Cyril Tranin assured that the GUR's owls will all be good in the new home.
