Calls to a sense of patriotism: CIA has released a plot for recruiting Russians (video)

The CIA focused on doubts, lack of purpose and oppression among Russian citizens. For this purpose, the department beat Russian culture, quoting lines from Tolstoy and Dostoevsky's works. The US Central Intelligence Administration has released a video that calls on citizens of the Russian Federation, dissatisfied with life in its country and war in Ukraine, before cooperation. The video was posted on a number of platforms, including YouTube.

The plot shows personnel from the lives of fictional Russians who have made a difficult decision to come into contact with the US intelligence service. "The CIA wants to know the truth about Russia, and we are looking for reliable people who know and can tell us this truth. Your information can be more valuable than you think," the CIA said.

The department noted that they are interested in Russians who work in the field of intelligence, diplomacy, science, high technology, or support contacts with people from these areas. The CIA also provided detailed instructions on how to anonymously and safely contact them in Russia. According to CNN, citing CIA officials, Russia's invasion of Ukraine has created a historical opportunity to "come to us and provide information that the United States needs.

" According to representatives of the American special service, the previous campaign for the recruitment of the Russians was successful and allowed to "establish contacts". "We wanted to convey to the Russians in their native language, which we know what they pass," one of the CIA officials said about the video mentioned. He also added that the plot is "absolutely not intended" for incitement or ignition of disorder among the general population of the population of Russia.

According to journalists, the CIA does not mention in their video about Vladimir Putin and the war in Ukraine, preferring to focus on "eternal" topics that have previously motivated Russia's citizens to cooperate with Americans. In the department, they try to appeal to the patriotism of the Russians, based on doubts, lack of goal and depression. To do this, the CIA plays Russian culture, quoting lines from Tolstoy and Dostoevsky's works.

"Thanks to my actions, we will live with dignity," says one of the video heroes. According to the former head of the CIA counterintelligence James Olson, nowadays it is a meadow period for recruiting Russian citizens than ever. "We can offer them protection. We can offer them safety. We can offer them full anonymity. And we can offer them a package that corresponds to the value of information they provide," Olson said.

It should be reminded that on April 11, CIA Director William Burns stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not plan to negotiate, so the future counter -offensive of the Armed Forces is very important at this stage of the war. Earlier, on April 6, we also wrote that according to the former CIA head of James Olson, Vladimir Putin was in a desperate situation that does not promise any victory for him.
