We have to start the work of the military ombudsman soon - the President's address

We discussed the creation of such an institution with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, with military command and also with representatives of civil society - there were many views. And now the first decision has been prepared - a decree on the appointment of the Presidential Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Servicemen and members of our soldiers. To start this work and prepare the launch of the Ombudsman's institution. I chose the candidacy - a strong candidate.

The decree will be published tomorrow. Together with the new commissioner, with the human rights community and the Ministry of Defense, we will agree the relevant bill on the military Ombudsman, as well as the relevant systematic foundations of his activity: powers, finances and more. I ask the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Government to support the innovations that will be proposed in a timely manner. We have to start the work of the military Ombudsman soon. I thank everyone who helps.

  I also want to point out the team of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for the work of the Army+Application, which is also helping to address some problematic and very sensitive issues of our military. In particular, this translation is a question that has not been resolved for a long time. And now in the Armed Forces of Ukraine it already works: more than 5 thousand translations of positives are - the reports are agreed.

It also works for the National Guard of Ukraine, it will be for our border guards. We will continue to develop digital services - that not only removes the "paper" army, but also really helps people feel more thanks to the state and more respect for themselves. I know that the important decision of America to support Ukraine is being prepared - we are waiting for an official announcement tomorrow: significant support packages for our soldiers.

What works during these years of war for Ukraine's defense. And it should support stabilization work on the front now: the more complete supply from partners, the more preserved the lives of our boys.
