"I am a military man who overcame the Tisza": The story of a fighter who tried to avoid mobilization

A year ago, Nikita's Aitovets tried to leave Ukraine, but the attempt was unsuccessful and now he served in the Kharkiv direction. Not everyone who tries to leave Ukraine trying to avoid mobilization. Social networks are full of videos of how to catch men trying to "overcome the Tisza". One of them, Nikita, said that happened after he was detained and mobilized. The State Border Service writes about it.

A year ago, Nikita, Aitovets and the head of the payment system development team decided to leave Ukraine when he realized that the war was delayed and his safety and his family were threatened. Hoping to avoid the risks associated with mobilization, he tried to cross the border illegally, but the attempt was unsuccessful and Nikita was mobilized. He tried to challenge the mobilization, but it did not work.

Now Nikita is a communicator in the border unit "Scorpio" with pseudo "split" and defends the Kharkiv direction. "The army seemed much more scary than it really turned out Said the man. His duties are to ensure a sustainable communication for the unit, to adjust radio stations and to lay the Internet in positions. He confesses that preparation in the State Border Service has become a new challenge for him.

Although he was mainly involved in mobilization, the army had to quickly learn new technical skills in radio communication and equipment. "Our task is to guarantee the presence of at least two communication channels so that in the event of one failure, it may be a spare. In combat, it can be a matter of life and death," the border guard explains. The tasks are complicated by different risks, from weather to technical, so they are taken into account by preparing communications for any conditions.

In his civilian life, he was the head of the developer team, in the army of Nikita took on technical tasks. He tries to be an ambassador of modern technologies to help his unit develop and keep up with modern standards. But now, when he is in military service, the man says that he does not condemn those who are trying to leave Ukraine. "I was one of them myself, and it was very lucky to have been alive after an unsuccessful attempt to cross the border.
