"New approaches needed": Valery Zaluzhni, the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces is resigned - Umerov

According to the Minister of Defense, 2024 will bring changes, so the command requires new approaches and strategies. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov officially confirmed the dismissal of the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny. On February 8, Umerov reported on his Facebook page. "General Valery Zaluzhny has fallen one of the most difficult tasks - to manage the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the Great War with Russia," Umerov said.

The Minister of Defense stressed that the war is changing and in need of change. "Fighting 2022, 2023 and 2024 are three different realities. 2024 will bring new changes to which we should be ready. New approaches, new strategies are needed," Umerov explained. The Minister thanked the Zaluzhny Golovny for his work in the Armed Forces. "Today it was decided to change the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Valery Fedorovich is grateful for all achievements and victory," Umerov wrote.

A little earlier, on February 8, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy posted a joint photo with the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny and thanked him for his work. For his part, Valery Zaluzhny thanked the General Staff, the Ministry of Defense, the President of Ukraine. Earlier, on January 29, information was spread on the network that the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny was allegedly removed.
