Military exercises called "Dracon-24" will begin on the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine-February 25. Approximately 20,000 soldiers from nine countries, including Poland, USA, Germany, Great Britain, Turkey, Spain and more, will be involved in maneuvers. The North Atlantic Alliance is preparing to hold the largest military exercise in Poland since the end of the Cold War.

Dragon-24 maneuvers will begin on February 25-the second anniversary of Russia's attack on Ukraine-and will end on March 14. This was reported on November 21 by the Polish agency Rzeczpospolita. Preparation for the Dracon-24 at landfills in Dravsko, Nova-Demba, Sand-Piske, as well as outside the military zones, is already in full swing.

15,000 Polish soldiers and several thousand military personnel from the Allies will take part in the exercises. In total, about 20,000 out of nine countries, including Americans, British, French, Germans, Spaniards and Turks. These include a battalion of the 3rd US infantry division, stationed in Poland. On the Polish side, the main forces will be exhibited by land troops: in particular, the 11th Lubu armored and 16th Pomeranian mechanized divisions.

The military will have 3,500 pieces of equipment, including about 100 caterpillars. The maneuvers will include, in particular, ABRAMS and K2 tanks, Chunmoo and Himars starting installations, self -propelled Krab and K9 artillery units. In addition to Polish tanks, American, Spanish and French tanks will take part in the exercises. In addition, military personnel of special purpose, territorial defense, Air Force and Navy units will be involved in the maneuvers.
