More than 160 events: the Russian Federation and Belarus are preparing for major joint military exercises

According to Viktor Khrenin, the training "Western 2025" will be the main event of joint training of military administration and troops of the Russian Federation and Belarus. The General Staffs of the Armed Forces of Russia and Belarus began preparations for conducting joint exercises "West-2025". This was reported on Wednesday by the Minister of Defense of Belarus Viktor Khrenin.

It should be noted that Khrenin did not specify how many military personnel will be involved and where joint military exercises will pass. However, he stated that the training "West-2025" will be the main event of joint training of military administration and troops of the Russian Federation and Belarus. "Today, the next plan of bilateral cooperation has been approved, which provides for more than 160 joint events.

The members of the Board discussed the prospects of military-technical cooperation and the progress of the implementation of programs of the Union State," Khrenin said. Bloomberg noted that Russia and Belarus are regularly conducting the West's military exercises, which are one of the largest exercises conducted by the Allies, and usually include responding to likely threats from the event.

It is reported that military exercises at the end of 2021 gathered up to 200,000 soldiers, as Russia used them as a cover to prepare its full -scale invasion of Ukraine. We will remind, President of Belarus Oleksandr Lukashenko stated that Belarus should participate in negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.

According to him, the negotiations will relate to the interests of the republic, which can eventually lose the territory, so now they are allegedly developing whole schemes to exclude Minsk from the agenda. The media also reported that Belarus had been forcing certificates and supplied the fertilizer through the UAE.
