Russia unfolds UAV "Inokhodets" to protect against Ukrainian sea drones

To spread: The key tool of the Russian drone is the tactical rocket of the X-block with a range of up to 10 km, which is created on the basis of anti-tank controlled missiles of the complex "Cornet". The Russian Navy began operating unmanned aerial vehicles (BLC) "Innodets" (export name-"Orion") to protect its warships in the parking lots. About it reports the portal Army Recognition.

The main task of drones is to intelligate and destroy surface threats, especially the unmanned Kamikadze (USV) boats, which pose a growing danger to military facilities at sea. Analysts noted that traditionally the protection of ships in the parking lot was placed on patrol helicopters, but in the face of increasing threats from small unmanned marine systems, there was a need for more autonomous and less costly solutions.

In this context, the Drone "Inokhodets" offers prolonged patrol, prompt response to threats and resource savings compared to manned aircraft. The drone was already used in combat conditions and demonstrated the ability to destroy the sea drones-Kamikadze with high-precision weapons. The device can operate autonomously or under remote control, providing constant monitoring of the water area and prompt response to potential threats.

It is noted that the key feature of the system is the integration of a multi-purpose X-block tactical rocket with a range of up to 10 km, created on the basis of anti-tank controlled missiles 9M133FM-3 and 9M133m-2 complex "Cornet-D". These ammunition make it possible to affect both overwater and air purposes, which makes the "inhabit" a universal means in modern hostilities.

"As the Russian military expands the use of unmanned" Inochode "systems, it is expected that this drone will play an even more noticeable role in the protection of naval facilities and maintaining wider operations to ensure sea security," the observers summed up. Earlier it was reported that the Russian shock-reconnaissance drone "Inochod" hit the lumber on the northern outskirts of Taganrog in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation.
