According to information, after the start of a full -scale war, the water shortage has become a global problem for occupied Donetsk. The local "administration" states that water reserves have already reached a record low, which will lead to unpleasant consequences in the future. The Siversky-Donets-Donbas channel, which provides residents of the whole region with water, remains mainly under the control of Ukraine, but Russian invaders continue to attempt to seize this route.
It was the lack of water that prompted the invaders to go through this direction. A channel passed through the city of time Yar, which is just 6 kilometers from Bakhmut. The intensive use of artillery by the Russians caused serious damage to the channel and other water infrastructure of the region. That is, all efforts of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to replenish the lack of water were destroyed by their hands.
"In order to compensate for the lack of success in the seizure and maintenance of the channel, Russia is probably building a water supply to reduce the lack of water in Donetsk.
